Subclass (サブクラス Sabukurasu or 下位吸血鬼 Kai Kyūketsuki) are vampires created by Servamps. A dying human can become a subclass by drinking the blood of a Servamp.

Normally, subclass cannot stand sunlight so they never go out unless it is nighttime. The only exceptions to this are Tsubaki's subclass who all are immune to sunlight, which gives them an advantage in doing activities such as information gathering, fighting, and such. Though, if the subclass cover their entire bodies with something that blocks the sunlight it's possible for them to go outside during the daytime. This is done by Lawless' subclass who are all seen wearing whale mascot costumes, allowing them to do activities outside during the day.
Unlike Servamps who are immortal, subclass can be killed by humans or if Servamps suck their blood, turning them into ashes. Some subclass are also capable of using magic.
